Covid-19 Response
Despite the challenges we held at school classes in term 1 of 2020-2021. Classrooms were stripped of all non-essential furniture to allow us to take full advantage of all space and to spread out our classes to provide appropriate separation. Some classes were split into even smaller groups, particularly in the younger age groups.
Arrival sanitization stations were set up and year groups kept in cohorts for all activities including arrival, departure and break time.
Strict protocols regarding students who were ill or had some form of symptoms were adhered to so that only a doctor’s certificate made it possible for these students to return to school. Where parents had to travel as period of quarantine was required for students as well.
Our vigilance is ongoing as we continue to ensure we are providing a safe environment where our students can continue to thrive.
